Last date to submit the appliance for final year examination has been extended. Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant confirmed an equivalent yesterday. Speaking to the reporters, Samant spoke of the extension and also the enrolment number. As many as 2, 47, 500 students are set to seem for the examinations. Mumbai University, he shared, has the very best enrolment of scholars within the state.

“The varsity has extended the amount for submission of exam applications to September 20. 2,47,500 students would seem for the exams,” he said.

Out of the total students who have applied, 1,70,000 are regular students and therefore the rest are the scholars who would be writing their examination for clearing the backlog. The minister also clarified that the certificates will haven’t any mention of exam being held during COVID-19 or a COVID certificate, as was feared by many.

Earlier, the certificates from agriculture university within the state had a mention regarding COVID. The move was widely criticised by students and experts alike. After much wait and a legal battle, Mumbai University’s final year examination is about to start from September 25, 2020. the sensible examinations have already started. The examination would be conducted in online mode. All students who don’t have the power to seem for the examination online would be allowed to physically appear for the examination, under the strict SOPs and rule as laid out. The paper would be in MCQ format. Colleges are asked to make an issue bank for an equivalent but accuracy on sharing an equivalent with students remains attend.
